Energía y Talento MX is an initiative that aims to improve the employability and labour market inclusion of young people in northern Mexico within the renewable energy and sustainable mobility sectors.
The project seeks to equip 800 young people with in-demand technical and soft skills while promoting gender equality and social inclusion. A key component is combining classroom learning with real work experience through a dual school-to-work approach. The initiative aims to provide 120 internships and strengthen partnerships between educational institutions, companies, civil society organisations, and public actors.
Launched in 2026 and designed for a three-year implementation period, Energía y Talento MX supports Mexico’s green transition by preparing a new generation of skilled professionals for emerging industries.
The project is coordinated by the Automotive Cluster of Nuevo León (CLAUT), and implemented in partnership with the Sonora Energy Cluster (CES), YYOUTH Norway, TECNARA Spain, and Developia Spain.
